Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Most well-known is her role as the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. She has previously worked as a Washington DC based correspondent, covering each of the US House and Senate. Bolduan, as an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative activities, including talks to increase the limit on federal loans and Super Committee discussions. Her general assignment work has included reports regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she was responsible for breaking news coverage as well as feature stories for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. The previous employers were NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. She currently is a resident of New York City with her husband and two children.
