Bellamy Young

Young started her career in the field of acting the theater. In the role of Mary in The Life's initial group, Young performed her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in 1997 on Broadway in 1997. Also, she appeared off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) in addition to as in Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995 until 1996). Her debut was on television in 1995, playing Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest star in two roles in 1997 and in 1998. She made her debut in 1999 in a character on Black and White, a crime drama. Then she appeared in several independent films. At the start of 2000, she began appearing in guest-starring roles on a number of comedy and drama shows on television, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young has been featured on more than 30 television shows from 2000 and 2011. Young was a regular cast member in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes, the program stopped after a single episode. She played as Deputy Dist. in the Lifetime drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, in the NBC the period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on the NBC soap opera Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004 As Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), as well as on the ABC the primetime soap drama Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) as Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family.
